Septic tank question

The previous owner mentioned no sanitary products down the loo-is this correct? So what do you tell guests and how do you manage if this isn't too personal?

I tell people that they will block the septic tank if they flush sanitary towels or tampons. I provide bags and a bin in the bathroom.

I don't flush my own sanitary products anyway - never have. I bag and bin.

Yes it is true . Your tank will need emptying annually and will probably be emptied on to a field.
Bag up products which can go in non recycle bin . Just tell people...locals would likely know anyway.

I tell first time guests only the 3 P's down the toilet Grin
