Stroud High School is a wonderful secondary school. I'd be looking within their catchment area. There are so many beautiful towns and villages you'll be spoilt for choice.

Sherston is fabulous. Great primary but not sure about secondary.

Thank you I will definitely be looking into them both!! Not sure where Sherston is, would that be in the Stroud catchment area?

Near Malmesbury. Really good community feel.

DH grew up in Chedworth. It is very rural and isolated, but falls into the ctchement for The Cotswold School - at least it did when DH was at school. It was a great school, and is often quoted on here as still being so. It was recently on a list of the best schools in England (may have been in The Times), fee paying or otherwise. It may be worth considering.

Stroud High is a grammar school, you need to pass a test
