Hi there
We are close to relocating to Mevagissey with my young family but I'm so worried about surviving winter down there as hubby will be commuting from London.
We will have family nearby but doesn't seem much going on locally with mums.
I went a local toddler group which was fab but would like to hear from any local mums telling me what it really is like?.

I appreciate it rains a lot there and just want places to go to keep us busy instead of being stuck indoors with two toddlers.

Watching with interest as thinking of relocating to St Austell in eighteen months to two years!

I can't help, but was there on holiday last year and is so beautiful, hope you have a very happy move.

We've holidayed there for a while. St Austell is nice and busy, you would find things to do. It has a leisure centre and a library, always a good start. Only done Mev in season and can imagine it being quite quiet out of season. Not far on the bus to St Austell though.

We live about 5 miles the other side of St Austell. It's pretty nice most of the time although very wet. And heavingly busy in the summer. St Austell is ok, they are slowly
doing it up and Truro is lovely and only about 30 minutes away. Meva is nice but very busy in summer and dead in winter. Not sure about local groups there though.
