anyone else sick of silage already?

the dreaded season of silage-itis cometh once more.DP's eyes have achieved the glazed/crazed far away quality associated with big bale production, the words silage is repeated mantra like, and meal times consist of him checking BBC weather online whilst stuffing food into his mouth. It's only day one and I'm already cheesed off.any other sympathetic farmer WAGs suffering?

Hee hee! My farmer neighbour is complaining everything is too wet! We don't do silage oop north until end June!!

Ugggh there at it now in deepest darkest Wales. Asked DP when he'll be in again today...'' wont go much past 9pm'' yeah right!

Early July for us so it's a way off. But I will be leaving the county when it comes to get away from the relentless weather forecast watching...

DP is on second cut now...' part one' of which is completed. I asked what part two involved, but got such a complicated reply about acreage I zoned out :O

YES!! They're wrapping the damn stuff up using this awful squeaky wrapping machine thing. I hope it breaks down.
