I have tried looking online but its hard to find a straight answer. Can anyone tell me if its safe to plant Poplar trees along a field that has sheep in it? I want to plant a row but dont want to poison the sheep. Smile

here you go!

The main one we have a problem with is Yew as its planted along many of our boundaries but not ON our land so we can't just get rid of it.

There are loads of poplar in our fields and our sheep never showed any interest in it, but our donkeys, llama, alpaca and goats have all eaten the saplings with no ill effects :)
