Where do you live?

I'm wondering if it would be a good idea to have a 'where do you live' section so retirees who are a bit lost or looking for new friends can connect with each other?

I have hit a bit of a brick wall . Need new friends and interests and feeling in a real rut. Don't like where I live but can't move at the moment.

Currently in Portugal but planning to move to Romania.

Wow! What prompted the move?

I've been in Portugal for almost 20 years, 17 of those in a relationship which has recently come to a natural end so I feel it's time for a new adventure. Romania is cooler (I find I'm not tolerating the heat as well as I used to), cheaper to live and work and an unknown quantity, which always appeals to me!

just moved to Bromyard Hfds due to health reasons I rarely get out I love my bungalow it has helped a lot but I do miss company such as when I used to run my own shop. quite happy to have email pals or pen friends esp too btw i have fought depression for years so that might be of interest to people

From September, it will be just me because ds will be at uni. No plans to move while he is an undergrad. A new phase, quite exciting really. 😁
