Thought I’d create a thread for those fellow education professionals who are taking retirement this year!

40 years in education, the last 19 as a Headteacher, it’s definitely time to go!

What have you got planned for September?

I’ve got a 3 week holiday booked from the 1st September - really looking forward to it.

I retired last year after 29 years teaching primary. Can I join you?
Im loving it.

Going to Amsterdam in 2 weeks for a long weekend, Tunisia at the end of April, a 2 week cruise in July and a month in Thailand in November.

Retirement is amazing!
