Affordable Hampshire Accommodation

Hi all, asking on behalf of some older relatives who want to move to Hampshire to retire. They just want a quiet life with a bit of a garden. Reasonable public transport links would be useful as neither drive. The main problem is they have a budget of 320,000 which doesn’t seem to go far in the county. They are particularly interested in the hart district. Any suggestions welcome thanks 😊

Have they thought about looking around Farnham / Aldershot?

There looks to be some houses in their budget, especially in the ‘villages’ which make up the bit between.

otherwise I’d be looking at the eastern reaches of Basingstoke, Lychpit or Chineham maybe
