I truly believe that my family has become so 'unworkable' that we ALL need coundelling.
Anyone had this, does it work, and is it very expensive?

My (now) ex-Husband and I went to Relate when our marriage was falling apart. To be honest it was a mixed blessing. Our kids were quite young so they couldn't have had counselling anyway.

It was great to be able to say things in a safe space but sometimes it was tough living with the effects of saying those things. I know both of us lied and held back on some things but I think this is normal.

It helped sort out that our marriage was well and truly over, and our divorce was easy because of it.

Overall I think counselling is worthwhile even though it didn't help my marriage as it made life a lot clearer, and helped us both sort stuff out in a mature way.

Good luck
