ideas for first anniversary present for DH

my DH and my first anniversary is rapidly approaching, and I am desperately in need of any ideas (related to paper, the first anniversary 'theme').

anyone got any good suggestions for gifts/things to do/places to go for my DH?

Get him a book about Origami. Borders (RIP) used to do calenders with an origami a day which was fairly cool.

But generally he's a bloke, he won't really care either way.

You could go out for the weekend...

If you can't afford that please please please don't buy him a book that's definitely not the answer...

Could get him a useless gadget if he's into that sort of stuff...

I bought DH a first edition of one of his favourite books. It wasn't as expensive as it sounds but he loved it.

My husband had saved the newspaper from the day we married and framed that. I thought that was really cool.
