What small and maybe stupid thing do you wish you had taken but didn't after divorce?

For me, its my Unk's hammer.

Leading in from a comment I made on another thread, my Unk was my great-uncle, I couldn't say it when I was wee so he was my Unk.

He died in 1987 and I miss him every single day.

And that fecking bastard up the road has the fecking hammer that my Unk gave to me when I was a wee girl and that we used to make wooden boats and stuff with.

And I want it back. But I know it will seem petty if I go and say "XH I want my Unks hammer"

So, what other small, but very personal thing, do you wish you had taken post spearation/divorce?

I left with my clothes, books and DVDs, took the printer, shredder, stationery, the girls' clothes and toys from their bedrooms and a duvet cover for each of them. I also took the duvets that I had bought for our king size bed even though I now have a double! I took the Emma Bridgewater china because it was never used, it is the only wedding present I kept. Oh, I have the rabbits too! But not the hutch...

He has the house, all the furniture, and just about everything else. But he also has loads of hardly used board games and rarely played with toys and six drawers full of cr*p felt pens and freebies from magazines etc and I don't have a cluttered house because I left it there

The day I moved out he phoned to complain about me taking all the photo albums. I took, processed and organised 99% of them so felt justified. He is going to get the pics of himself back though, it's not as if I want them!

When my ex left me, she and her new man, took all the furniture one day when I was at work, and had spent weeks I suspect making cardboard cut outs of the TV, Microvave, Fridge, the lot!!

Now that was bitter
