Leaving VS my son's education

I have to leave before I kill someone. Seriously I feel like I am losing my mind. I am surrounded by nutters and I need to leave. I HATE it here.
My main dilema is though that as I'm not working, the only places I have a chance of renting a house is OUT of the catchment area of the secondary school DS1 has been accepted for. This will essentially mean that whilst DS1 is receiving a good education at a good school, poor DS will be dumped in a bad school with terrible grades (15% a-c pass rate) and a very bad reputation. I feel I just cannot allow them such unfair routes through high school. Espcially as DS2 strugg;les as it is.
So do I leave now and keep hold of my sanity or wait until NEXT october (2011) where I can still get DS2 into the same school as DS1 and THEN move?

Does the school have a siblings priority policy?

Only after catchment criteria has been fullfilled. The school is very over-subscribed and by the time all the catchment places are filled, there's not many more.
