What's boxy/boxroom?

I've noticed this coming up in a few threads and wonder what it means - sorry if I'm being dense. Is it a term of abuse?

The boxroom troll do you mean? There is a troll who crops up now and then and always has a relationship problem involving her dh, a step daughter and someone sleeping in the box room.
