Any agents out there who will take a punt and give me a whopping big advance on the hugely successful book I am writing about relationships ?

As of this morning, waking up with a dead hand, and after going top Casualty and GP, I have now discovered it is called Radial Nerve Palsy which means I can't drive the car or can't clean bogs anymore.

Book in progress.

Help needed.

Are you serious?
Get the Writers' and Artists' year book look for an agent- or go to Freelancers' forum and ask there.

If your book is a self help book you have bugger all chance of finding an agent- they don't deal with non fiction as a rule.

How about a My Radial Palsy Hell article for one of the papers/mags? Can you lie write that you were so enormous that you killed your own arm while you were asleep? That's got to be a goer for Pick Me Up or one of those.

WombFrootShoot · 26/05/2010 20:46

Will it have a section on how to tackle awful shit with grace and dignity?

Cos you should totally write that.

Unlikelyamazonian · 26/05/2010 21:00

I knew that post was a bad idea.

that's my book's working title

Gosh that's awful, UA. Are you likely to get at least partial use of your hand back at some point?

Unlikelyamazonian · 03/06/2010 16:27

Hand ok again thank god. (not that it's remotely interesting!! Thanks for your concern though annie)
