What is wrong with these men? Ive just read it. First my little lad from Take That and now Ronans at it. I always said he was too goody goody to mess around. Im shocked.

Have never seen the appeal of RK. To me he is an asexual milksop. Now his missus used to go out with Eddie Irvine if my crap celeb memory serves me correct. Now that is a real man.

I've never fancied him either.
But, do you think he is like most men with power, and charisma, successful, etc. They have this weird sense of entitlement.

No matter whether they are celebrities or high achieving businessmen (ie, my stbexh) they feel the world owes them a favour and they can trample on anyone, especially those who have supported them through thick and thin, kept up appearances for their sake, as the doting wife and mother of their wonderful offspring.

Oh, I agree completely. Both types of men are the same, it doesnt matter whether they have thousands of people singing along with them every night or secretaries fawning over them. They just think they have a right. Im guessing when you marry a celeb you know what you are signing up for, for stint on tour with them would show you that. Unfortunately when you marry an aspiring businessman you cant see into the future.

The rumour I heard was that Ronan had more in common with Steven Gately then just being in the same band and that their oldest child was fathered by Eddie Irvine.

I have no proof of this, just heard more then one person say it.

Ha! I never heard that one. Wouldnt surprise me though. Infact I would be least surprised by that then another woman. Seems it was a woman though.

I worked for a well known entrepreneur once upon a time. He cheated on his partner too. I was never sure if she was aware, however, he left his wife for her so it probably serves her right!

I like to think it comes around. I never saw any threads on here now, it is fishy isnt it? strong rumours that he is gay and then another woman been involved all of a sudden. I dont think he is gay though, unless his friend dying has shook him up. I was friends with someone in a moderate band once and it literally was a woman in every city, all listed on his mobile too. I dont know, no-one would surprise me anymore, except Jonathon Ross!!

Ah but maybe this shows the problem with signing up for a life with a celeb. You know what you are getting.

When I signed up for 'LIFE' with my H, I was 18, I didn't know what he would aspire to or become.

I thought 'till death us do part' was something we said and meant to stay true to.

He grew away from me, don't get me wrong, I have lived a nice life for 20+ years, albeit following in his shadow. I wouldn't change a thing.

I do think that he saw himself as some sort of 'God' who all in his dominion bowed down to, sadly I didn't fit his ideal.

Is that my fault?

It is a shame that if RK is gay, as some have suggested, then he didn't feel up to exposing his true colours, instead he lead along, his wife, family and fans.

Is that their fault?

Do you reckon he is gay though? remember his background, a teen idol and an Irish boy, it wouldnt have been easy to come out as gay afew years ago. I think his wife was his first experience as well I remember reading that. So, no-ones fault if its true? I dont think it is true and Im thinking he probably has been caught with his pants down. What amazes me is that it doesnt happen sooner. You look at all these blokes in the limelight, if they are shagging about so much and basically treating all women like crap why does it only come out at a certain point in their lives? what about all the previous? I do think the internet has a lot to answer for!! When you signed up for your marriage or, when anyone does to a normal bloke of course you dont think of what he will become. When you sign up with a celeb, I suspect you must have an inkling!

Definitely agree when signing up with a celeb you must accept a higher liklihood of something happening/temptations arising etc. That's why I think it'd be unbearable.

I agree, I'm surprised there aren't more exposes via the internet. You could just post on any of their fan sites what you'd been up to. I'm surprised more people don't.

so what Ronan cheated because he was only 21 when he got married?? NO he cheated because he's a fuckin idiot. Really glad she's kickied him out. Must have been hard after 12 yrs of marriage and 3 kids but at least she is strong and doing the best thing for her and the kids. I don't think he's ga, have met him and spoke to him and he did always seem to be eying up the lasses. Maybe bi tho. Guess it's been a tough yr for him if you think about it. Losing one of his best friend's so suddenly, perhaps it makes a weak man think wih his prick. Stupid boy!

its because they have exactly what you just called them!! The fact that we have the internet just goes to show that most of the women they are messing/shagging with do actually keep their mouths shut. I think the money grabbers are few and far between. Otherwise every single band/actor/footballer would be being grassed up left right and centre! And there are thousands of them on tour at anytime!! I imagine lots of celebs wifes turn a blind eye and its just with the threat of exposure that they do something about it. Even if his wife knew, she probably did not want to know. Hes one of the richest men in Ireland, if thats any consolation to her. Its funny that its the second time around when he gets exposed, when his band are actually flogging a dead horse.
