Have name-changed.

A while ago, someone named VicarInAtutu (I think) asked advice about how to spice things up in the bedroom (or wherever) and someone suggested that she reads Literotica.

Well, curiosity got the better of me, so I googled it and all I can say is WOW! I never knew that it even existed and boy, I am glad I found it. I had my first 'no-hands' orgasm reading a story on there. I just started reading one of the stories, got all hot and bothered and the next minute !!!!! NEVER happened to me before - bloomin' heck, marvelous stuff.

Just wanted to say a big thank you to the person who made that suggestion - mwah, mwah, mwah!

Apparently even SoH doesn't know

And of course it's totally believeable...

ineedabodytransplant · 19/05/2010 23:29

korma,

confusing..

do you mean SoH or SGB? Or is SHB a hybrid?

NoHandsNeeded · 20/05/2010 07:48

I'm confused too about all the references to SoH and SGB, but never mind! The person who suggested that I can read stuff here on MN: I don't think I will, I mean it just won't feel right, you know, reading 'smut' on a parenting website...it just doesn't seem right somehow! And yes, I agree - the writing on Literotica is bad, but I don't go there for intellectual stimulation, if you see what I mean. Last week (I think) there was a person on here (a suspected hairy trucker with yellowing underpants!) who seem to want to have his/her bum licked, by his/her dp, all the time...well I don't think he/she is going to find what they are looking for here on MN. Rather go to Literotica - there is a whole section on that (so I have been told).

I have a rule with Literotica. If the heroine's height and weight are described in the first paragraph, or she is described as 'slim yet curvy' I stop reading. This works brilliantly to edit out the crap.

sunshine2010 · 20/05/2010 09:49

It is a brilliant website

Andy1964 · 20/05/2010 10:40

he he he.

I wrote a short story for my DW and published it on there.

She liked it

NoHandsNeeded · 20/05/2010 10:44

Now don't be like that Andy - give us the link.

BigHairyLeggedSpider · 20/05/2010 10:46

My DP has written some stuff for there.

Great site... we've learnt a lot!

NoHandsNeeded · 20/05/2010 10:51

Spider, my DH doesn't know that I 'visit' Literotica, but he has definitely reaped the benefits of me doing so! He must be wondering what has gotten into me, because I've practically jumped on him, since starting to read it and I've introduced some interesting tips I gleaned from there. He is not complaining though...gawd, I wish I'd knew about it a long time ago!

I can't get at the link at work.

Look me up on there if you can, I think my username is 4Wife, I've only published one story.

EricNorthmansmistress · 20/05/2010 12:19

Yay!!!!! I was on that thread and seconded literotica

I also recommend black lace books, at least they reach a minimum standard of literariness and you can take them to bed with you

May I also recommend the Black Dagger Brotherhood books? They are fucking fantastic and actually have a storyline alongside the porn

My sex life is sparkling right now!

Northumberlandlass · 20/05/2010 12:47

I like the Loving Wives section
x

Jamiki · 20/05/2010 12:51

I heard a sex therapist on Oprah refer to it as 'cliterature' ha ha.

glacierchick · 20/05/2010 12:59

Another (slightly guilty ) fan here.

I generally only read stuff on the hot lists as the rest can be very hit and miss. Also, try following links from authors you like to other authors.

It must also be said, some of the stories in certain categories are rather too far on the other side of disturbing, so for those new to it, read with caution...

< wanders off to check some of the other links mentioned here... >

tortoiseonthehalfshell · 20/05/2010 13:03

Black Lace are fantastic. I won't read anything else now. Black Dagger Brotherhood, you say?

re: Literotica. I This friend of mine was reading a male gay erotica piece the other month, and the plot involved one bloke doing another in a workshed out the back of an office full of field scientists. It was quite a distinctive place; a row of old cottages which had been turned into an office for an exploration company. And I asked my husband if he recognised the scene, and he agreed with my suspicion, which was that it must have been written by one of his workmates. Here in my sleepy small city on the other side of the world.

Tidey · 20/05/2010 13:06

Was the OP joking about which story it was? I've just read it and it's a big long whinge about being sent to prison with practically no sex in it. I'm confused.

Tidey · 20/05/2010 13:10

Oh, there are three stories all called that, so maybe it was one of the other two.

winnybella · 20/05/2010 13:15

Just googled it, but the most read stories were about sons having sex with their mothers and sisters and there was one about a father watching his 'pet girl' being gang-raped.

I'm no prude, but that's a bit bizarre.

changednametospareblushes · 20/05/2010 14:40

Totally agree with others- this website really pepped up our sex life after 12 years and quite a few kids. We couldn't keep our hands off each other. the bad writing adds to the experience - and the ones with slight ocd who go into lots of detail - "I grabbed him and pushed him into the toilet cubicle, making sure that I sanitised the area with some antibacterial spray in my bag..." - by the end of the story we were in hysterics.

SonofDeva · 08/05/2025 08:17

Appreciate it that this is post is slightly late in joining the conversation but have you looked up WRIST?
