Need advice please about what happens when DS is with XP

I have namechanged as I know he knows my MN address.

I am felling very angry and helpless.

How much can I know about what happens when my son is with his Dad?

XP is being very very difficult, a complete tosser in fact. A long back story, some posted on here under my regular posting name.

I had to give him travel money so he could come to collect and return DS.
I won't be doing that again.

Anyway, he now says that he's getting a lift but won't tell me whose car it is and what sort of car seat. He is playing power games and tells me it's none of my business.

I may seem controlling to you but my XP is not above using DS as a tool to hurt me.

Am I entitled to know whose car etc he's in when he's not with me?

he said it to my face, sadly, no written record. I have told a close friend and i know he discussed this issue with his then psychotherapist.

The problem is he also believes he was abducted by aliens ( I know, I know) so I'm not convinced of the reliability of his memories, iyswim.

sounds like you are well rid. you need to get a solicitor ASAP.

agree with others, call his bluff. hopefully he will panic that he is actually goimng to have to cope with ds and bring him back sharpish.

ok. you need to get access sorted so you're comfortable. this isnt good for you little ds.

i made my own ex take me to court for access as i had concerns. these concerns were taken seriously and judge ordered full reports on him. i would recomend this as he sounds nuts!!

If any of his messing around today was by email / text, I would keep it and show the solicitor when you are arranging access.

If you require legal aid may i suggest that before you call to make an appointment with a solicitor that you contact the benefits agency and get them to send you a letter stating what benefits you are on. Solicitors need this proof before they can see you due to Legal Services commission regulations ( i am a legal secretary)
