Dont know what to think as found out that my partner ordered viagra on line from Lloyds chemist at the end of March and has never said anything to me, what would you think he is only 27 we have been together nearly a year and I didnt think we had a problem but he ordered 8 tablets. I havent said anything as he doesnt know I know I just came across the email when he let me use his I-phone.

my exh did this - I had looked at his email and saw an email from his friend sayng 'the sweeties have arrived!'

I challenged him about it and he said it was to get our sex life back on track - tbh I didn't really buy that one.

I am sure that it's not something you would want to broadcast but even so would hope it would be something you could share with your partner.

What do you think he ordered it for? Does he have any problems in that department.

My exh used to travel away on business alot and so I suspected it wasn't really to use with me.

Having said that I am sure that most men wouldn't want to admit they needed to use it even with their partner.

Sorry that's not much help but just to know that you havent been the only one in that situation.

I dont know anything about viagra but i assume youd know if he had taken one.
Id consider he had ordered them for someone else / was struggling to maintain a hard on / had plans for a cosy night / or was having an affair.

Why not ask ?

expatinscotland · 03/05/2010 22:13

How did he get a prescription? I'd be afraid of fakes.

I did used to go out with a doctor, however, who'd use the real stuff every now and again even though he had no potency problems.

I knew it, though.

We'd be up all night, him, literally.

appleslice · 03/05/2010 22:21

Not that I am aware me and him have got a healthy sex life not excessive but maybe do it twice in one night but he never has it hard alnight, I darent ask as I am shock that he has never said as we are really close or so I thought I have looked everywhere for them and cant find them. It just says thanks for your order and cost him about £100 at first when i saw it was from Lloyds chemist I thought it was for something to do with his IBS not this

My assumption is that he's worried about his ... manliness, though there are other reasons he might have bought it. You know how many men worry about not being like Big Dicky Wellhung in those porn movies! Silly of them.

I imagine you'll be able to tell if he's used one - then you can remark on how 'different' he seems; see if he reveals his secret then.

Fwiw, I don't see this as any different from a woman buying a new sex toy without prior discussion.

ItsGraceAgain · 03/05/2010 22:28

Blimey, are they £100 for EIGHT pills?

appleslice · 03/05/2010 22:29

I dont know if I would be able to tell as he is always the same, so I am thinking has he always used it and never said i am confused as to what to think.

OP posts:
ItsGraceAgain · 03/05/2010 22:31

Stating the obvious - ask him.

appleslice · 03/05/2010 22:33

Well thats what the email it said but I have just been looking on Lloyds website and maybe that included the delivery charge and says that you go to their on line doctor so maybe thats how he got the prescription... we tell each other everything so I cant understand why not this

OP posts:
appleslice · 03/05/2010 22:35

I dont like to grace as I feel I shouldnt have seen tht email, it just happened that I pressed the wrong thing on the phone and that came up.

if i do say something what do i say?

OP posts:
IfYoureHappyAndYouKnowIt · 03/05/2010 22:38

Can you just say what really happened?

So ... I pressed the wrong button on your phone and saw that you bought Viagra. What's that about? (pause).

appleslice · 03/05/2010 22:42

yes wish i could will just have to pluck up the courage and say it. but then i am thinking is he having sex with someone else and taking that to be able to do it with me?

OP posts:
OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2010 22:48

He's 27. Assuming that he's otherwise fit and healthy, with no erectile dysfunction apparent to the OP, he' probably taking it because he has the ridiculous notion that if it makes sex "better" (possible) for some men, it must make it "better" for all men... he'll probably end up with a splitting headache and a persistent and uncomfortable stiffie, stupid boy.

appleslice · 03/05/2010 22:52

well i am starting to think that is why he has been suffering from dizzy spells. Yes that is what i think stupid boy there is no need to take it, mind it did take him ages to tell me he had IBS

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 03/05/2010 22:54

Actually, we used it for just, well, a night of lots of good sex .

We'd smoke a bunch of grass or he'd take an estacy tablet and he'd do the Viagra and we'd basically eat, smoke weed and shag.

It was a sort of novelty thing, though.

appleslice · 03/05/2010 23:00

You both would have discussed though wouldnt have you?

OP posts:
expatinscotland · 03/05/2010 23:01

Oh, yes, we did! He brought it up and I was game so we planned it. He'd have days off during the week so I took a day off during the week . We had a nice meal in the early evening before and then he took it.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2010 23:06

Hmm, but for some men grass leads to a certain disinterest anyway - the V would simply counteract that (and then some, I guess! )

SirBoobAlot · 03/05/2010 23:07

Just tell him not to take a whole tab or you will have fallen asleep and he will be laying there for hours standing to attention. A quarter should suffice!

Cough.

expatinscotland · 03/05/2010 23:08

He took ecstacy with it. I smoked grass.

Then, later on, he smoked some grass with me.

In between things.

We did this a few times.

Once we went away from a couple of days and didn't leave the hotel room.

Yeah, if he's going to take the whole tab, it needs to be planned as an all day thing.

As in, go out for breakfast and then go back ome.

Can be fun on a snowy day.

OldLadyKnowsNothing · 03/05/2010 23:14

wishes she were young again

expatinscotland · 03/05/2010 23:14

was child free then, too.

SirBoobAlot · 03/05/2010 23:21

Ah yes, I remember it well...

appleslice · 09/05/2010 22:07

Found out he has ordered more would you have it out with him?

OP posts:
Doha · 09/05/2010 22:22
