How do I cope with a MIL that, when I look back, for last ten years hasn,t really liked me much at all!
Now we have three gorgeous children, a jealous stepdaughter who lies to her grandmother and then a grandmother who then comes and shouts and moans at our children trying to get my DH to tell them off all the time that MIL and FIL are here?
The situation gets worse and worse every time they come - I know our kids are no angels but not bad kids - she just seems to want to cause a big uproar when she's here and now it's affecting DH with our eldest child. Help

How is it affecting your DH and DC1? What does DH say in all this? Do you have his support or are you on your own in all this?

I had always got on really well with DSD until last visit but since then (she was violent towards DC1) she hasn't contacted us, just went and told lies to MIL.

DH seems to want it all just to go away but turns into Mr Wonderful when MIL is around and won't stand up to her.But he hasn't made effort with DSD either and seems reluctant to. MIL has always prompt to contact or with Birthdays etc. I used to do all of this until the lies started and then I stepped back because i felt it was all being shoved back at me. Never had a Bday card from any of them.
