Is monogamy the only way?

I am a monogamist being as I get very jealous but sometimes I feel that it is not natural. I can love more than one person at the same time (although I don't sleep with more than one at the same time!)
I am jealous but I don't like being posessed and controlled. Part of me feels that real love dosn't posess or control yet jealousy is posessive and controlling. Yes, I am a hypocrite.
How do swingers deal with the jealousy?

Any thoughts?

the only thing you have to remember is that whatever you do you have to be honest about what you are doing with the people you are doing it with. That way no one gets hurt.

If you are single then as long as all parties are fully informed etc. then non-monogamy shouldn't even be an issue.

If you are married however, monogamy is the only way imho.

Tis the only way for me. Strictly a one man woman.

Many people find it difficult to maintain real intimacy with one person while also having sexual relations with others.

But not everyone does. You just have to make sure that the other person is on the same wavelength (esp if you have children I think)
