Just curious....

IME in fetish clubs it's usually just you and your partner - you do get the odd threesome but they tend to be a permanent threesome relationship - and as ndp said the rules are strict. I always found it a lot nicer than normal nightclubs -nobody trying to pinch my bum!

You can watch other peoples 'scenes' or they can go somewhere private. It's not sexual in an 'intercourse-kind of way', I've never seen anyone gert their bits out!

novadandypowder · 03/08/2005 17:22

I tend to play with DH with other people watching. We have introduced other women into the play occasionally but they have to be invited, no-one can just join in.

We're going on saturday night as DH also DJ's at the club, although it's getting harder to find something to wear with a baby bump! We don't go in for hardcore play at the mo as i'm 26+4wks pg, but i'm hoping that my love of pain will help me get through child birth!

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 17:25

wow it really intrigues me, I thought it would just be a room with everyone at it but it sounds like I'm far off the mark, so would you go there on a normal night out then?

novadandypowder · 03/08/2005 17:29

hmm depends what you mean by 'normal' night out. We have gone there just to do nothing else but drink and dance, last time i spent most of the night sat in the DJ box with DH. The nights only run once a month so most of the time it's good to make the effort.

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 17:33

is the whole idea you go to have fun?? and not just to drink then i presume?

novadandypowder · 03/08/2005 17:35

DO NOT OPEN THIS LINK IF AT WORK!!!

I can't link just to the one picture, but if you click on the 4th picture in the Xmas installation performers box, I am Snow White Picture .

The other pictures show a mixture of the performances that are put on there, and regular clubbers

novadandypowder · 03/08/2005 17:36

Surely the whole idea of going anywhere is to have fun!!!

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 17:38

blimey i'm amazed do all the shows have a sexual tendancy then?? some look real painful??

Blu · 03/08/2005 17:41

Wasn't a MN-er off to something called a Fever Party some months back?
Google for details....

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 17:44

you can certainly learn a few things here on mumsnet lol

novadandypowder · 03/08/2005 17:45

yes, all the shows have a sexual tendancy of varying degree, some are considered 'performance art', some are harmless burlesque strip teases, and others are quite hard core.

Fine line between pleasure and pain my dear..

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 17:46

i bet it is good fun, do you decide which show to be in then?

novadandypowder · 03/08/2005 17:54

The shows aren't open to regular punters, I'm friends with the guy who runs the club, hence why i'm down as a performer at Xmas. All the shows are done by professionals only.

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 18:32

arrh i see now would you have to pay more to watch the shows?

TwinSetAndPearls · 03/08/2005 19:46

The couple from Blackpool on the real wife swap programme are our local window cleaners!

bubblerock · 03/08/2005 19:51

I saw them on that show TS&P - she looked so mousey IYKWIM couldn't believe she was into swinging! How can you look them in the eye after seeing them on that programme?

TwinSetAndPearls · 03/08/2005 20:12

The first time I saw them I just couldn't place them, I just kept staring! Then it clicked and I could have blushed for England. The thing that gets me is she is so plain, almost like a school girl. Not the sort you would imagine to be a swinger.

I also knew someone else on the programme - the circles I mix in ...

TwinSetAndPearls · 03/08/2005 20:13

Maybe it is her way of making up for the mousiness!

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 23:05

do you ever talk to them?

TwinSetAndPearls · 03/08/2005 23:08

the window cleaners - smile at and say hello.

The other person - more of an acquaintance that I know from my past - don't see him anymore - so no.

TwinSetAndPearls · 03/08/2005 23:08

Why - did you want me to introduce you?

Hulababy · 03/08/2005 23:10

I haven't no, but the village that my BIL and SIL have just moved to is apparantly quite well known locally for having such parties.

Janbo25 · 03/08/2005 23:14

start to be worried when you get invited to parties round at theres then!

bubblerock · 03/08/2005 23:23

I used to work in Tesco and a couple came in every week and chatted to me, after a few months they invited me to a party in Bristol !!! I was gobsmacked and had to hide every time I spotted them - I'm quite an open chatty person so really was not encouraging them on purpose!

Janbo25 · 04/08/2005 09:46

i presume you didn't go to the party then?
