had a lovely first date the other week.
have spoken to the man several times but no mention of a second date has come up.
is this normal? does it mean he is not interested? or just busy?

Hi ditsyblone - imo, if a man is interested in you, NOTHING will stop him from pursuing you - not work, not family, NOTHING.

He probably only has short term plans for you (which translates as doing as much as it takes to get you into the sack, with the least amount of effort) and that is why he is taking his time - if he thought you were a 'keeper' and could picture you in his future, then he would have been pounding on your door since your last date.

Or he could just be busy.

Agree with NinaJane if he liked you he would have asked you out the next time he spoke to you. Sorry.

Now go find a nice man who is not just interested in whats in your pants!
