Just wondering how and where you go to meet decent, honest, non married/not in a relationship men??

I've been out and about on the town a few times and its just not me, I'm 40, a single mum and the guys I seem to get chatting to are either married or in a relationship, which is fine for a chat that evening but then what!! I feel like an old frump even though I dress quite well, standing around drinking just doesn't appeal to me so what's the next step?

I've looked on dating sites and they seem to full of weirdos? Or is that a bit harsh? Another friend wants to go speed dating but what the hell do you talk about for three minutes when your whole life revolves around a two year old!!

I'm really not sure if I'm even ready to date yet? All the effort, shaving legs and thighbrows, finding clothes for each date, finding babysitters ..... arghhhhh!!!!

I think it's hit and miss with dating sites but they are worth a go. I have never met anyone out in town.

Strangely on my first day of registering I was about to take my profile off due to cold feet, and then got a mail from a lovely guy who had got disillusioned and only logged on to delete his membership. The first date was nerve wracking but he's the kindest, funniest man I've ever met and we've been seeing each other for a few weeks and he whisked me off to Paris last weekend. So it does happen... and when it does, choosing clothes is fun, believe me!!

And I have 2 dc's, and although it means that certain things are a challenge, he thinks I'm worth it. I'm making myself a bit queasy here, but given the crap xh put me through I'm basking in the adoration right now!!
