Do Brainy Men Make Better Lovers?

Nerds are rarely common-or-garden attractive, they nearly always have icky little beards, unconventional personal hygience theories and their umbilicals plugged 24 hours into their PC, but does all that time spent theorising, analysing, and comparing make them more THOUGHTFUL and PERFECTIONIST in bed? After all, some men are just trying to please their ego when being selfless to their woman in bed - extra-curriculars if you see what I'm getting at! -"Oh look what a fabulous Lover I am I know how to please my woman", etc. whereas a more thoughtful person such as a Nerd has scientifically weighed up all the best avenues to achieve pleasure in the most efficient way, therefore enjoyment as an end result of this experiment should be paramount.

I've dated a few brainiacs, the brainier they are, the better in bed.

Anyone agree? !

Emotionally intelligent ones do, yes. Ones who can empathise, can imagine how someone else might want to be pleasured, and can talk freely about this, experiment, explore - are inquisitive, creative, and take pride in doing something well. And who really enjoy giving. I guess that doesn't have to be someone inherently geeky. And yet ...

The guy I'm seeing at the moment is doing a masters in physics, plays computer games with his friends, and even has The Icky Little Beard - and is amazing in bed.

Never 'ad one, but always kind of fancied the geeky ones on tv etc, and years ago had a massive crush on the archetypal nutty professor type at work. He could read hexadecimal fluently, I kid you not.

Mine is a very clever geek and fantastic in the bedroom. So yes However I am pregnant currently and for some reason now the only hot, firey action is our bedroom is my heartburn!

DH is clever, bespectacled, Icky Bearded and geeky in certain areas (comics graphic novels and music) and is a wonderful lover (no hygiene issues, though - and no cardigans).

Having said that, I once had a fling with a guy who was a long way from being the sharpest knife in the box and the sex was ace. Too ashamed to introduce him to anyone who knew me, though so it didn't last. (Mean, I know, but I couldn't help it)

I decided a while back that geeks were the way forward when it came to potential shags partners and I can honestly say I've never looked back(!)
