Can you advise me/share what you feel during actual penetration?

I know all the text book stuff about no nerves in most of the vagina, but honestly, I feel very little.

I am worried that either I am too slack- I had a repair op almost 20 years back- so don't think it's that and have been trying very hard with PF exercises lately. I do though wonder if any nerves were damaged during my repair- obviously they had to cut/stitch the front vaginal wall, especially near the "mythical" G spot!

I also wonder about DH's size. he is long, but maybe slim? I feel it's a pretty tight fit once he is inside, but I have really no sensation.

Is this me, him, or is this pretty normal?

do you mean you have no sensation.. as in it's numb, no feeling at all?.. or you have sensation but it's not at sensitive as the clitoral area/nerves?

it's not numb, but it doesn't feel pleasurable in any way- he may as well be prodding my leg, if that makes sense!

are you generally just going for it? or do you .. ahem... make sure your warmed up first.

is there plenty of foreplay?

have you tried you orgasming thru clitoral first? i find a huge difference in my internal sensitivity and sensation if i have done that before penertrative.

I think its psychological. Clitoral stimulation can be sore/annoying if in the wrong frame of mind and thus vaginal penetration/stimulation can be uncomfortable/unsexual/unexciting if not feeling properly turned on.

I too find that achieving an orgasm through clitoral stimulation first makes vaginal stimulation far more enjoyable and likely to bring about further orgasms. The same is true if mentally I am more turned on i.e. it has been a while, there is anticiaption and build up, have had an especially loved up phase in the relationship. These things all make the difference for me so I would not discount them before looking at physical explanations for the problems you talk about.

Purplepeony I too have no pleasurable feelings during intercourse. Before having kids I could orgasm if I was on top but now it all seems to have changed down below and I never get rubbed in the right place any more, no matter what position we try.
I was wondering about trying ribbed condoms to see if they helped.
Anyone any experience? Are they any good? Do you thing they'll help me?

I know not everyone likes gadgets in the bedroom, but seriously try one of these, they're fab.
