Weird period....stress or what?

I'm normally very regular, but today got a period 10 days early with none of the regular crampe that normally come. Real surprise as this never happens.

Am very stressed right now, going thru a divorce, but want to know if you think I should go to drs...or does this kind of thing happen when you're stressed? I know everyone will tell me to go checked out, but I feel like I go to the dr for every little thing. Maybe if someone can tell me it's normal/not normal....

Thanks!

this happened to me recently

I came on a full 7 days early, abnormally heavy and painful (am usually regular or with a slightly long cycle)

I had a urinary tract infection at the time and was pretty stressed...so yes, maybe stuff like that messes up your cycle

the other thing with me is, I may be approaching menopause

Thanks for your response - I am in my mid 40s so that did occur to me too.

I am normally so regular too, so this was really unexpected....

I guess I should just wait and see what happens next month...I hate to rush off to the doctors at every little thing!
