Started a group on Facebook called 'I have the best mum in the world" - just a bit of fun but if you do - then you're name needs to be down!

pollyblue · 06/03/2010 15:49

No. She's a loon. Just announced she's getting married for the fourth time, to someone she's known 2 months. He might be lovely, but she could start a fight in an empty room, so I fear for him.

NotQuiteCockney · 06/03/2010 15:52

Mine was moderately crap and is dead.

bronze · 06/03/2010 15:55

DramaInPyjamas · 06/03/2010 22:11

My little girl just said I was the best.

What do I win?! what do I win?!

Fizzylemonade · 07/03/2010 09:18

Mine was fantastic, supportive, would do anything to help, muck in when I needed it and was the same way with my two sisters. She was an amazing Grandma to my two sons and my sister's children. Loved playing with them, babysat them, kept them in line

She was the best Mum I could have asked for, she died 4 weeks ago aged 62 from cancer.

deste · 07/03/2010 09:50

Fizzylemonade my mum also died of cancer aged 62. That was 21 years ago and was considered young then. You have happy memories.

bronze · 07/03/2010 19:27

I'm so sorry Lemonade. I can't begin to imagine how you're feeling
