Met a fun guy

I have met a fun, good looking man at a local pub. I have checked him out with a friend of a friend who knows him. He has asked to see me again and I have his number. He has suggested I ring him if I am certain I want to see him again next week. How long should I give it before I ring? I don't want to seem a. overly keen and b. desperate.
Should I wait and see if he rings me first?
I'm too long out of this dating game.

If it was me - I would wait for him to call me. If he really likes you he should call.

He has asked you to ring him, so do that. Why play games? Don't ring, and you are saying 'I'm not interested'.

I'm not saying you should always be the one making contact and fixing up a date, but if he has given you some space to think about getting to know him better, that's no bad thing.

Call him by Tuesday at the latest!

Good advice, thanks, I think I may will wait until Thursday if he hasn't called me. Although I did send a txt to say it was good to meet him and thanking him for being such good company.

I am disappointed, he seemed genuine.

Just turn up at his house in a wedding dress and ring his doorbell with your tongue. He'll get the message that you're available.
