DH has recently got quite into healthy living and borrowed a few books from the library such as yoga for beginners and feng shui as well as a few books on well being and diet.
In one book he read that drinking 30 cups of green tea in one day is good for you so he drinks 30 cups before work. He had to drink them so fast the other day he was sick all over the kitchen. He was then concerned that the goodness had come away from him so he drank 30 more and made himself quite ill.
The feng shui is becomming tiresome. He has now turned the TV around so it is facing north but as we can't move the sockets or arial wire, he's had to have the TV facing the window so it has its back to the room. Very silly, now nobody can watch it.
He also read that its good for your body to go to sleep at exactly the same time every night. So from 9.30pm he sits there watching the clock and as soon as it ticks onto 10pm he dives off the sofa, hot chocolate flies everywhere, runs upstairs, dives into bed and makes snoring noises. I know he's not actually asleep but he thinks that by pretending to be it was still work the same.
Why do men always have to take things too far?
