Hi all,

My DH works in security, he often brings home some toys to play with and I usually take the piss, however suprisingly some of these things actually work.

They are available to the general public but I know they are not cheap to buy however I wanted to show you that they are avaialble to anyone who wanted to play detective on their own.

I am not making anything out of this just wanted to make you aware that there are things that could help you.

well if you are looking for ways to "trap" people then you will have already looked at those kind of things.

how would you convince someone to walk around with a crappy, old mobile phone and a large pen? Doesn't seem like an easy way of catching someone out.

You hear about them on TV, magazines, newspapers. Or you can just google it. You know 'spyware'.

Is dh allowed to take them home? What sort of security are we talking about it?

I am not telling you that, nut these are things he has bought to play with bit of a gadget geek. The pen has a camera in it and can be left in the car same as the phone the owner can then dial into it and hear what is being said

SmallShips, I always walk around with an old mobile phone and a large pen on my person. (Well, in my handbag when I go out, at least.) Had the phone, at least, while I was still married - ooh, maybe I should look at it rather more suspiciously... no, no, I bought it myself, it couldn't be. Could it?

I think if your trust is sufficiently broken down that you resort to amateur surveillance equipment it might just possibly be time to get your arse out of the relationship.
