1. He went to the shop to buy disks. Had to be a specific type otherwise they don't work, he had it written down.

He bought the wrong ones.

1. Bought dessert for NYr's Eve.

Bought something I don't like and have never liked (we've been married 10yrs).

1. He picked up a prescription from chemist for DS and told them he knew what he needed and it was something the dr hadn't prescribed. They believed him.

He was wrong. Has to take it back tomorrow so they can dispose of it.

er..I suspect that he didn't 'get off' with it. He made some mistakes and has no doubt been informed of them.

The incarnation of 'men as witless objects' here is pretty poor tbh. Some blokes err, as do some women re basic and not so basic stuff. If crude stereo-typing is your thing then do please keep it to yourself.

Men are just as capable as women to do anything. I hate the eye rolling 'what is he like!' comments that enable men to behave as they like because their partners/wives expect nothing more of them.

Yes but this is from a wife about her DH - could have been posted by either sex but it is specific to what happened to them.
