Split up with boyfriend - feeling a bit rubbish

In the great scheme of things it is not that bad. I do know this. I had been seeing him for 3 months, so not long at all. But i still feel a bit rubbishy about it.
It was all a bit complicated from the beginning and i do actually suspect that he had a girlfriend. It was all a bit too good to be true otherwise.

I think its more that its the time of year, and just over a year since i split with my husband.
I just sort of feel a bit flat and lonely and that everyone will be happy and christmasy and ill be on my own.

yes it is rubbish for you but you never know what is just around the corner for you. Perhaps this time next year you will be celebrated Christmas with a gorgeous rich hunk. Try not to be down hearted, and make sure you do nice things for yourself this xmas.

ah - you see, he was/is totally gorgeous and very very rich.

Im kicking myself a little bit actually - but it had to be done.

Still though.

Totally gorgeous and very rich?
Hmmm, what is his address?

Seriously, if you know it wasn't right then you have done the right thing. Hope there is someone special round the corner for you but look after yourself in the meantime.

Oh dear- I'm sorry. Vodka? Do try and get out with your friends over Christmas and enjoy yourself- you never know, and it beats moping.

Fruitysunshine · 03/12/2009 21:04

Have you got good plans for christmas day?

grumpynow · 04/12/2009 08:09

Yes, he was never involved in them anyway - hadnt introduced him to family or anything.
Like i said, its not really a huge great deal. I know im being a bit stupid - but its still rubbish..
