Male Waxing

This is probably better for a Friday night thread but desperately need some feedback on this. Have name changed.

Started seeing a new man a few weeks back and last week had sex for the first time with him.

Sex was pretty good but I was slightly taken aback to find that he has completely bald nether regions He has a hairy chest and arms but his 'bits' are totally bald.

Now, I wasn't overly put off and having not had that many sexual partners I wasn't sure if this was 'the norm' these days

However I mentioned it to a couple of friends - one of whom is VERY liberal minded and both were quite taken aback and thought that I should be careful as this could signal maybe odd sexual fetishes etc

Now my mind is on overdrive and I'm not sure what to do. He seems normal, maybe a bit full on but nothing untoward and the sex was good and 'normal' too.

What do you think??

MrsBoogie - some people don't suffer from those things..

Pretty much every salon offers a Brazilian these days, and most, a Hollywood, don't they? Certainly do in my neck of the woods. Wasn't like that 20 years ago, times have changed.

Working in blokey environments I know that the younger ones especially see it as normal for both men and women to go short on hair down below..Many of today's teens, so many of whom are seeing porn on net or mobiles before they've even heavy petted must think it's the norm.

I sound like some sort of advocate for it, I'm not at all, it really gets on my nerves that it seems to be becoming expected, although, I suppose, if you're going to teabag, better without hair than with.

LOL AnAuntieNotAMum - surely a contender for quote of the week!:

I suppose, if you're going to teabag, better without hair than with.

Fame at last

nappyaddict · 28/09/2009 01:44

I hate it when blokes are really hairy down there but I've only ever known then shave and trim - not have it properly waxed.

FredaMare · 28/09/2009 07:06

lol - had to look up "teabag"! You learn something new every day made me smile in a Monday morning.

I led such a sheltered life pre-Mumsnet. Last week I was looking up "space docking".

AnyFucker · 28/09/2009 07:59

freda, better clear your history, love

Lots of guys shave their bits, which I also think comes from the porny image - but like most on here (which just goes to show) I prefer a natural look. It also makes you think wonder what he thinks of mine. I used to shave the triangle bit above, then waxed it, but got ingrown hairs which hurt like hell, left dark scars and ruined the whole pink triangle effect. So now, if anyone has a problem with a bit of hair down there, they can lump it.

Malificence · 28/09/2009 11:06

I always think that people who only like to be completely hairless have "issues" tbh.
Hairless bits aren't sexy - they are sterile and sex-less.
Hair helps with sex, it traps the wonderful musky scents of arousal and provides extra stimulation.

I was seduced by the "it feels better" claptrap, well it doesn't for me, in fact it ruined sex for a few weeks, I went for a severe brazilian - my hubby hated it and I was stubbly and itchy. I was also hugely shocked by just how dark my labia are!

I have just joined the site so please excuse me if I get things wrong.

I am just getting out of a sexless marriage of 32 years. Tried every trick but it is over. No sex for the last 7 years so go figure

I have met a lovely lady who wants to basically shag me to death...lol

She has shown me a totally different way of life. She has been more than willing to give me blow jobs so thought I would get rid of the hairs on my cock, she has now got me to shave my balls. She likes to lick and suck them so doesn't want the hairyness, she likes the smoothness. Her choice, not mine so does that make me a perv?I don't think so, more what the lady likes.
