Are you ACTIVELY, gorgeously IN LOVE with your DP?

I'm asking the question because I can't work out if I am not in love with DP or if the routine, kids, money worries, work hassles etc have got in the way or if there's genuinely just nothing left. We act like business partners.
I look around and though not as bad as we are, I don't see many friends/contemporaries who are affectionate and loving in a spontaneous way. Am I just unlucky and seeing everything through poo smeared glasses?
What d you think... does he bring loads of joy to your life after 10 years + ?

Course you should have Trinity

Trinity , I'm so sorry - that's utterly heartbreaking but I hope you can take comfort from the fact that very few people actually get to experience what you had together.

Taylorswift - I still have that stomach flipping, sexually charged thing with my husband,as well as the enormous and deep love we share - it may have gone into hibernation a few times over the last 27 years but at the moment it's back with avengeance.

I would kill for him and die for him, as he would for me, we belong to each other.

Nothing else would ever be good enough.

Yes, and definitely feel loved and fancied.

So sorry Trinity. X

Sorry, I didn't get the chance to come back to this (I'm OP) until now and it's been really interesting and warming to read a lot of the posts. Thanks for everyone who gave advice and suggested ideas for getting the magic back.
But Trinity, I think you have made me remember what's important with one short comment.
Thank you for posting. x

I agree with runaway

Trinity, you have made me by saying that but also thankful for what I have. So sorry that you are going through this, but you do have the memories of a lovely man.

Thank you so much for posting xx

Lovely post, Trinity.

ErikaMaye · 18/09/2009 09:42

Trinity of course you should post - you have always talked of him so fondly, that doesn't have to change, ever. x
