Mumsnet has made me count my blessings

Mumsnet has made me count my blessings and realise that although things are not perfect in my life there are many people locked into nightmare situations that have been going on for years and others that are going though a sudden crisis. All of these people deserve help even if it is only from a distance.

I intend to stay on Mumsnet to find out if I can be doing anything useful in the face of all this saddness.

Good for you . Yes, I spend a lot of time counting my blessings - it's so easy to get so self-absorbed in what really are trivial issues by comparison to other people's problems.
