When you change the sheets, does this "do something" to your DH?

Namechanged

Have been married before and noticed it then as well.

When I change the bed, DH will always feel particularly horny that very night.

DH and I made luuurve two nights ago, I changed the bed last night, this morning DH was gripped by a sudden passion and I was gripped by a sudden DH.

I have wondered whether it's a way of marking territory, like a dog cocking its leg up a tree.

Is it worth trying to conduct a scientific study, do you think?

am off to change the sheets.......

ridingjoker · 22/08/2009 15:13

i get in the mood if i change the sheets.

something about fresh sheets needing "christened"

foxinsocks · 22/08/2009 15:15

yes so do I (tmi)

In fact, dh must have noticed this because it seems to be the only chore he actually volunteers to do

PleaseMrsButler · 22/08/2009 15:28

Don't know what causes it....but fresh sheets lead to sex within 48hrs (usually 24) in this house too.

ABetaDad · 22/08/2009 15:36

There is certainly something sensual about cool crisply ironed sheets against the skin.

PleaseMrsButler · 22/08/2009 15:37

Good to have the male opinion....good theory.

Problem is that DP (in my house) hates fresh clean sheets....so I doubt he finds it sensual....

GivePeasAChance · 22/08/2009 15:38

Thats why I never change mine

MightyShitey · 22/08/2009 15:39

I never iron the sheets, ABetaDad, so it ain't that.

But clean sheets do feel silkier and more sensual. Yet within hours it's back to "the rank sweat of an enseamed bed."

Mustn't grumble though

Ah, so, PleaseMrsButler you would support the Marking Territory theory perhaps?

"What's with this alien mountain freshness feeling? Where's the spunky niff of manly ME gone?"

Is that what he's thinking? This is my theory.

Dunno....maybe it is the quickest way to turn those nice crisp sheets into a creased, loose, pulled askew mess...
