I don't think anyone knows me very well...probably my best friend does better than anyone, of course the children (probably too well!)

My mum likes to think she does and I sometimes find comfort in believing that too.

How I long for someone that would know all of it and still want to be there

DH thinks he knows me, but sadly doesn't know much about the real me.

DCs probably think they know me too, but only as 'their mum'

Friends - only as a friend.

And my dad doesn't know me at all.

DH dosnt really, although he tries.

DF thinks I am a replica of him, although I think I am the opposite.

DS, well dont all kids just see you as 'Mum' regardless of their age.

DM knew me inside out, but sadly died 20 years ago.

DB's dont know me at all.

My parents know me least of all.

Or rather they think they know me, they have a view on what I'm like, but it's stayed the same since I was about 13.
