Now I'm not normally one for the Guardian but I do like the advice given here, some nuggets such as:
"Choosing a partner is as much your responsibility as theirs. Once you realise you've only got yourself to blame for making poor choices, the whole business is so much less painful."
"Don't waste your time making excuses for complicated guys who don't phone or don't pursue you with gusto."
And the best:
"Your romantic life will change the moment you stop auditioning as patron saint of dysfunctional dudes and learn to employ some self-defence."
It's so true though. I know if a guy is interested he WILL call and WILL make arrangements to see me. Dating should be EASY. Why do we make so many excuses when the truth is so plain to see?
