If you do use dating sites try not to go for over 6' as a lot of shorter guys get left behind.

Thanks guys. Was feeling v sorry for myself yesterday...., though things are looking a little brighter today. And have managed not to call or text him - despite his insistence that I should do so. Apparently he'd hate to lose touch with me .
Have never tried internet dating. Maybe I should give it a go.
Will probably give myself a bit of time to retreat and lick my wounds first, however.

I met dp through a free site plentyoffish.com there are lots of those sites around. You have to watch out for the sharks though Lots of people, women included, wanting their egos massaged on there. Some would say going on a site that you pay for is better as those on there are most likely to be serious and not just wanting fun. Good luck for the future hope you find a nice guy
