Another bad experience with the online dating thing

Met up with a bloke today for lunch. We've been speaking for a few weeks via msn/email and phone so we arranged to meet today at a brewsters type place for lunch.

We ordered coffee first and then half an hour later or so, our food arrived. Everything was going fine, we were chatting etc and then for no reason at all and with no explanation, he started scraping coleslaw from his plate onto the carpet.

I just stopped talking, waited for some kind of comment and he just looked at me and said "sorry about that, I hate coleslaw. What were you saying?" I laughed (nervous laugh) and said "Can't believe you just did that ... " and he said "well, better on the floor than on my plate" and he carried on talking about our previous topic.

We carried on talking until he later dropped a handful of chips onto the floor too before announcing that he was full. The waitress came along, stood in the mess and said "woah, what's happened here?" and he just said "oh yeah, sorry about that, I'm not keen on coleslaw". She looked really annoyed and said "and chips?" and he replied "no, I usually like chips but those ones had coleslaw on".

I'm giving up with the online dating thing, they're all freaks.

Anyone got any odd stories about online dating? reasure me that it's just me attracting the nutters.

Well you never know SH! If I found george Clooney naked in my kitchen I would have forgotten about the coffee!

Not quite a date, but in a club once I was standing in a corner and this guy came over and started chatting. It was a general "do you live round here?" convo, nothing too sexy, then after a couple of minutes of that, he clasped my hand lovingly, looked me deep in the eyes, then shoved my hand on his naked knob hanging out of his fly.

How romantic fed! I would have given a sharp pinch I think!

Oh god how strange! And poor waitress too!

I have only ever been on one date from a dating site, he descided we had something in common when I mentioned ds's pet goldfish, and started to tell me how he breeds angel fish

I sometimes think I would like to do dating sites again just because I get fed up never going out, but I'm sure there must be better ways of increasing my nights out!
