Happy families?

My SIL told me today that our mutual BIL, when his wife was bottlefeeding a few years ago, so strongly disapproved of bottlefeeding that he took away the formula and bottles, and forced her to breastfeed.

Have heard this secondhand, so don't know the details, and SIL doesn't like the family very much cos they are so controlling, which is also my experience of them.

I am upset at hearing this, cos to me, this is a form of abuse, forcing someone to do something against their will.

SIL is overly anxious about everything, and doesn't even want a conversation about hayfever, cos it makes her think about swine flu.

I really can do without this part of my family in my life!
