DP is tasting his own medicine and he doesn't like it.....

For the past 2yrs DP has been a lazy arse when it comes to housework, picking up after himself etc. No amount of nagging, reasoning, pleading from me has changed him one iota. So this week I have left the washing up 2 days in a row and most of the housework. I have left the water in the bath so he has to empty it before he can bath DS.

Needless to say there have been rows- he has just called me lazy. He is obviously very pissed off and I, unashamedly, am loving it. He is now feeling how I have felt for the last 2yrs.

Usually on these threads the DP just carries on leaving the place in a state so I'll be interested to see if he bothers to clean up or just leaves it still...

Keep up the stirling job... you're doing great!

SNOWBall4girlz · 14/04/2009 19:14

mine just retreats to his room till I do it anyway
He will do enough for himself and nothing more so i end up doing the lot.

SNOWBall4girlz · 14/04/2009 19:14

good luck

CarGirl · 14/04/2009 19:16

Snow - why do you put up with it?

I just wouldn't?

compo · 14/04/2009 19:18

let him get realy really pissed off and then tell him he either changes his way or employs a cleaner

Supercherry · 14/04/2009 19:22

Thanks for the encouraging words.

Wish we could afford a cleaner Compo.

He has actually washed up the last 2 nights while moaning and cussing. I am just ignoring it though. He actually said he was leaving me yesterday during a hissy fit. I asked him if he was going to finish the washing up before he left .

It feels so good to be on the other side of the fence for once.
