Readings for a civil partnership

My best friend has just asked me to do a reading at her civil partnership later this year - feel very honoured and excited.

Does anyone have any suggestions about what I could read? I thought of something from The Prophet, but any ideas would be welcome.

The prophet is always good, ahd that at ds3's naming ceremony.

But most readings would be OK wouldn't they? My personal favourite is always sonnet 116 (as long as you dont mind the word marriage I guess but why would you) but there's so much out there; do the coupe not have any personal faves?
