If we divorce does anyone know what happens with our limited company?

I need to get something straight in my head. Divorce not imminent but relationship is shaky.

We are both directors of our limited company but my husband owns all the shares (he is more involved in day to day running than me). Does this make a difference if we divorce? Would it be better if I owned some shares?

Get some legal advice quick. The mem and arts of the company will be relevant but if he is a majority shareholder, he might be able to remove you as a director without too much ado (it really does depend on the facts so don't take any notice of late night Tigers and their ramblings). Is the co worth much? are you an employee as well? Go and find out how you stand, please.
