I like the idea of it, but am a bit shy about buying any. Can I buy it at boots? is it worth the embarrassment?

Go to the official ky site, and they send you a free sample ... not played yet!

hellomama · 21/04/2005 15:52

I have used the Durex 'Play' Heat lube which I guess is probably the same sort of thing, but different brand. It is ok, but no real difference between that and the normal Durex 'Play' stuff. I would say any silicone based lube is much better than ordinary one's like KY Jelly for example though. Lasts much longer! Don't be embarrassed buying it though. you can always order online from Boots.

Ah, I've tried it Saucey. Didn't think it was anything special TBH.

If you really want a warming sensation, try vicks

I once washed my bits with menthol Head & Shoulders

not something I'd like to repeat

Marina · 21/04/2005 16:16

Did this form part of your strategy for baby # 3 Pamina?

JoolsToo · 21/04/2005 16:16

Twiglett - thought you'd be suggesting something like chillis

Saucey · 21/04/2005 16:16

I can't see dh being very happy if I introduced such items into our love making.

Isn't it difficult, changing your style of writing to hide your usual identity?

I once reached for spermicidal gel instead of toothpaste.

Cannot resist the opportunity to refer to a Hard Day at the Orifice.

Sorry.

JoolsToo · 21/04/2005 16:17

it says 'HEAD and SHOULDERS' not Head and BITS!

Marina · 21/04/2005 16:17

crikey Twiglett

Lou, we're not going to get a repeat version of Issymum shaves her eyebrow live on Mumsnet are we?

Saucey · 21/04/2005 16:17

OMG, can you just imagine vicks?? I don't know about 'warm'..It would feel like a tornado was blowing through your legs.. (or wherever!). A somewhat-lesser-but-similar sensation is achieved I discovered (albeit accidententally!) by washing the nether regions with tea tree shower gel!
