I don't know if we are doing this right?

My husband and I have been married for 2 years. We are both devout Christians and opted not to make love until after we had exchanged our vows.
We hope to raise children but have not yet been blessed with any and we don't really understand why.
Neither of us are comfortable talking to a doctor about our problems as we like to keep our private lives private. But as we can remain anonymous here on this forum, we thought perhaps you may have some advice for us? We think that perhaps we are making love in the wrong way? The 'sex' thing is something we have not talked about with anyone and it isn't mentioned in our families. We thought we would just know how to do it when the right time came, but we were unsure. So how do you know if you are doing it right?

Anyone going to bite?

Ewe · 26/03/2009 13:25

How long have you been trying?

In it's simplest terms you just need to have lots of sex with your partner ejaculating in your vagina, there is no right or wrong way to do it but there are times of the month that you are fertile which is when you are most likely to conceive.

Ewe · 26/03/2009 13:26

I'm an optimist

HaventSleptForAYear · 26/03/2009 13:26

Why don't you try a book like this on amazon

Pray before during and after and ask sincerely for Jesus' guidance.

Ewe · 26/03/2009 13:34

Funny really, as you mention that you already have kids in some previous posts?

TheCrackFox · 26/03/2009 13:36

Reality, it doesn't lead to pregnancy but you can literally have a pain in the arse.

Password, he needs to ejaculate into your vagina.

100 years ago everyone went to church and there was no sex education at school and they all had 20 DCs each.

Oh how bloody inconvenient! I dream up a good troll post and find out that the password name has been used by someone else!

How can that be?

OP posts:
hullygully · 26/03/2009 13:37

Bummer. Or not.

Ewe · 26/03/2009 13:37

God is against you password

Can't be. It must be a similar name. You should have done a search to check before outing yourself so quickly.

Buda · 26/03/2009 13:38

I did hear a story years ago about a couple who went to the doctor to find out why the wife wasn't getting pregnant. Turns out neither of them had any clue what to do and he was trying to insert his penis into her bellybutton!

Buda, that's the story I was using!

The name is exactly the same, I didn't think you could use a name that had already been used?

BitOfFun · 26/03/2009 13:46

Aw, you shouldn't have given up so quickly!

Interesting about the name - maybe there is a statute of limitations on out-of-use names?

mayorquimby · 26/03/2009 13:47

"In it's simplest terms you just need to have lots of sex with your partner ejaculating in your vagina"

best sentence ever written on this forum.

MrsMattie · 26/03/2009 13:48

Why are you worried about 'discussing your private life' with a doctor? When you give birth the midwife is going to see right up your fanjo.

Rhubarb · 26/03/2009 13:52

I could have gone on couldn't I?

LadyGlencoraPalliser · 26/03/2009 13:54

I KNEW it was you, you hussy!

BitOfFun · 26/03/2009 13:56

I'm disappointed that you caved

Rhubarb · 26/03/2009 13:59

I know, but when I searched, someone with the exact name has written about her children! It just wouldn't wash.

Buda · 26/03/2009 14:02

Wonder if that story was true then password!

That mean old Rhubarb spoiled your fun!
