Ok, I've met up with a nice man a couple of times in the past 2 weeks. Today he turned up with a big box of chocolates. I thanked him, twas very sweet ... only now I've just opened them and inside he's slipt a note in with a nice verse he's written himself about me and a couple of pictures of guinea pigs (presumably as I'm always going on about mine like they're my 'other children' )

How sweet is that? maybe too sickly sweet for some but I have NEVER had anything like that given to me, I've never had anyone make the effort like that so it really cheered me up and made me feel wanted

Go on, tell me how ridiculous I am

oh that is really sweet!

You see! There are nice men out there!

What is he like?

TequilaMockinBird · 24/03/2009 21:57

You're not ridiculous, I think it's sweet! Would love somebody to do something like that for me!

You enjoy every minute of it, you deserve it!

I am very

Guinea pigs

Whatever floats your boat

BatmansWilly · 24/03/2009 22:01

haha thank you!

He is very nice, we have a spooky ammount of stuff in common.

He told me today he's booked a show for us for a few weeks time, turned out to be something I've wanted to see for years. I never told him this, he just said "I thought you'd like something like that" - so it shows he pays attention too!

Not the Axe-murderer then ?

thumbwitch · 24/03/2009 22:05

Bless! That's lovely. My DH bought me a present of a guineapig calendar for the 2nd Christmas that we were together (he was BF then of course!)
I think it's nice when they take note of what you like.
Awww! hope it keeps going the way it's started

suwoo · 24/03/2009 22:05

You weirdy guinea pig freaks.

BatmansWilly · 24/03/2009 22:07

Beanieb, no I got a horses head left on the doorstep from Axe-Murderer

thumbwitch, I agree it is nice when they take notice like that. My ex would have just taken the piss out of the guinea pigs and bought me a calendar with cars on or something

sounds like a bunny boiler to me....

Dont say I did not warn you when you come home one day and find one of your guinea pigs boiling away
