She is really an aquaintance, as I only know her through playroup, but I really like her and have gelled with her iyswim.

Anyway she has told me her dh is useless with dc, never put them to bed, never changed a nappy, etc etc and she can never go out on an evening as he wont look after them.

But she took me to one side today and told me she would not be coming back to playgroup for a while, as she was leaving him on sunday, she has a house, and is moving away from the area (only 10 miles) therefore would be giving p group a miss.
She hinted he had anger issues, and that she had asked him to leave last week and he refused and threatened to burn the house down

Now I offered my support, but tbh there is not a lot I can do due to the fact I am due to give birth anytime soon.

However, I am really concerned about her.

I have texted her today and offered help, but I am guessing, there is nothing else I can do really is there?

Just be a mate if she needs it.

Its really made me sad though

poor her, you said it really, be there for her. Maybe text her on moving day wish her luck and let her know you are there to chat, whatever, maybe offer to visit her in the new house if she wants.

Good luck with the birth too
