Facebook query - I am a dunce!

As I said, I am a bit of a Facebook dunce so wanted to appeal to those of you who know what they are doing. Since my H's awful midlife crisis and affair we have been harassed by the OW's H and I am curious to see whether he is still 'monitoring' us.

Someone on another thread mentioned that there is an application that lets you know who has been searching for you and looking at stuff (too much to go into but H runs a group so has things on it that are visible to all), so I wondered how to get this? Thanks!

why don't you just make your pages visible to friends or group members?

Ineedmorechocolatenow · 11/03/2009 11:56

Not sure, but you can certainly block him from finding out anything. Just go into privacy settings and type in his name in 'block person' they then can't search for you or see any of your details. Not sure you can block him from the group though, unless it's a 'closed group'. It might be that he has to remove himself from this to stop the intrusion.

Failing that, delete your account!

ha! i'd love to know if there's software like that out there! not heard of any though. have you tried googling?

whoisasking · 11/03/2009 15:39

Nope, no such application.

Block him, and set your privacy to the highest level you can.

katemumtwo · 11/03/2009 15:50

He will only sign in using a false name, I'm sure... I don't want to be chased off something i find quite useful...

but how can he join as your friend using a false name???

UnquietDad · 11/03/2009 16:03

I think a lot of people would love there to be such an application on FB. There have been various urban myths about one doing the rounds for ages. Sadly there is no such software.

whoisasking · 11/03/2009 16:05

He can't look at your personal page, if you have set your privacy settings to the highest they will go, without being your "friend".

As to the group - If it is not a private group, I would be very wary of what is being posted on there - basically, nothing you do not want to know. He still won't be able to access your pages via the group if your privacy setting is high enough.

Hope this helps

I'm sure that the admins of groups can delete and/or block anyone from their groups. Is that possible?
