Dh alwasy very interested in what I tell him about work and loves hearing about the people I work with, jokes we've had, people who are being a pain, etc.

But I've noticed that he is being a bit 'funny' when I mention one partic colleague's name - can't quite put my finger on it but I know there's something there. I am not denying I think this bloke is great and very likeable. He's not fanciable but he has a very attractive personality, iykwim - people like to spend time with him and we get on very well and share the same outlook on our job. He's also about 13 years younger than me! I've got plenty of male friends and also male colleagues that I get on really well with but dh doesn't give off the saem vibes with these blokes at all.

Shall I broach it with dh and give him some reassurance or just ignore it? Might he think I doth protest too much if I mention it?

I think just ignore it. If you make an issue of it then it could look like you are protesting too much. Just keep mentioning him as you do in passing conversation I say!

I would leave it too. Its up to your dh to bring it up if it is bothering him. I dont see what could be gained by you highlighting it.

Glad I didn't say owt. we went out last night and bumped into the bloke and another chap I work with in the pub. It was the first time dh has talked to this bloke for any length of time and we had a great time. Afterwards dh commented how lovely this bloke was. So that's that. Think dh is a bit wary of the unknown, that's all.
